Our Story

The Honest Space was created by husband & wife duo out of a place of passion and lived experience.

Joe grew up in Fife and from an early age was exposed to crime, violence, sexual and emotional abuse, parent imprisonment and substance abuse. At the age of 18, Joe fell into what would become a 13 year battle with addiction. After years of relapses, prison sentences, court orders and doctor appointments; Joe's life hit a turning point in 2015 which he credits to his faith in Jesus and his willingness to overturn every stone that caused him to stumble. It's through these personal experiences that Joe brings his passion to create safe spaces for men to discuss their own stumbling blocks.

Joe and Natasha were married in 2018 and have since had 3 boys. Finding out the gender of their first baby and wanting to break generational trauma, it catapulted them into researching the developing brain of boys. In their journey of raising sons, they are developing a strong passion for advocating for a healthier society for boys and men, knowing that a healthy society is when both men and woman are flourishing.
